Iceland’s Population Growth Largest in Nearly Three Hundred Years | Abroad

The island state had a total population of 387,758 at the beginning of 2023. The majority, 63 percent, live in or around the capital Reykjavik. The national statistics office does not explain why the population of Iceland grew so fast last year.
