“In Italy we only have two systems, one of which is now under maintenance or being rebuilt – Riccardo Lorello had denounced -. We spend a lot of days away from home, so it is certainly a great shame”. “Now there is enthusiasm, so if we wait to build a new plant we will miss the boat”, commented Mayor Sala. “From a political and sporting point of view, we are all convinced that we want to give Milan back an ice facility, whose sports were appreciated and gave us satisfaction at the Games”, added Governor Fontana.
