The Augsburg Panthers from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) continue to rely on attacker Matt Puempel.
The 30-year-old signed a new contract with the Panthers, who only escaped relegation through Schützenhilfe. The club did not provide any information at the time. Puempel came from the Malmö Redhawks in 2021.
Puempel is also no longer one of the Augsburg import players. The Canadian with German ancestors applied for naturalization in a personal procedure, which has since been officially granted to him.
