Leon Draisaitl’s 45th Seasonor has not prevented another defeat of the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL. The German international scored the leadership against the Anaheim Ducks, but could not avert the 2: 6 in his own hall.
The goal of Connor McDavid at the presentation of Draisaitl was only cosmetics in the final third. The Oilers have now lost six of the past seven games in the NHL. The team is still four points ahead of Los Angeles Kings and is in second place in the Pacific Division on a playoff place. Draisaitl is by far the best scorer of this season in the NHL, in the past nine games he has scored nine goals.

In the duel of two other German NHL professionals, Nico Sturm with the San Jose Sharks was a bit surprising as the winner of the ice. Against the Buffalo Sabres with JJ Peterka there was a 6-2, both storms and Peterka ever met for their teams. Peterka managed to equalize 1-1, Sturm then scored 2-1 for the hosts, who had previously only won a win from nine games.
