The defending champion ended his small series of defeats and clinched a prestigious victory. In the top game in Munich, coach Serge Aubin’s team won 2-1 (1-1, 0-0, 1-0) after two bankruptcies and consolidated their lead in the table. Munich, who celebrated a derby victory against Nuremberg just 24 hours earlier, remains third.

Dominik Bokk (11th) gave the visitors the lead, Austin Ortega (11th) equalized just 34 seconds later. Frans Nielsen (55th) scored five minutes before the end of the game to win for the German champions.
