“I’m sending you a million articles with Buzz Aldrin and… the other one,” Kardashian told Paulson, 50, between filming on the set of the Hulu series, referring to astronaut Neil Armstrong.
She spoke of an interview with astronaut Aldrin and claimed that he said: “There was no scary moment because it didn’t happen. It could have been scary, but it wasn’t because it didn’t happen.”
Kardashian added that the astronaut made such comments because he was “getting old.” “Well, I don’t think it happened,” she said, referring to the moon landing.
Kardashian ‘constantly sends Paulson conspiracy theories’
Paulson responded that she would “look into it intensively” and look at the materials Kardashian sent her. She admitted to “constantly sending conspiracy theories” to the actress.
A producer eventually asked Kardashian to confirm that she didn’t believe astronauts had been on the moon. “I don’t think it was us. I think it was fake,” she clarified. “I’ve seen a few videos of Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn’t happen. He says that all the time in interviews now,” she claimed.
Buzz Aldrin spoke publicly in interviews about the moon landing – and what actually happened. In one Exclusive interview with “People” In 2024, the astronaut remembered the space mission in detail and its implementation.
“Why aren’t there any stars to be seen?”
“They’ll call me crazy anyway. But take a look at TikTok. See for yourself,” Kardashian said. “There is no gravity on the moon – so why is the flag flying? The shoes they have on display in the museum that they wore on the moon have a different imprint than in the photos. Why are there no stars?”
People magazine, which extensively covered Kardashian’s statements, wrote: “With all due respect to billionaire businesswoman, aspiring lawyer and reality TV icon Kim Kardashian – and whatever she saw on TikTok – the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969 actually happened. Sorry!”
The article is titled “Everything Kim Kardashian has just said about the moon landing is wrong” and refutes all of the arguments the celebrity makes in support of the conspiracy.
Aldrin remembers a moon landing that took place
Finally, “People” also spoke to Aldrin himself, the astronaut who was there during the moon landing and whose alleged statements Kardashian is now exploiting. “I have a lot of memories of the mission, of arriving on the moon and returning to Earth – and a lot of them are about teamwork, focusing on the mission, just doing our job well and not letting anyone down,” Aldrin said in the 2024 interview.
“Gratitude is probably still my strongest feeling today – gratitude to all those who made this incredible event in my life, in our life, in the life of the nation possible,” he said. “God was looking out for us, that’s for sure.”
Aldrin, now 95, continued: “Of course I think it’s important to return to the moon. But dreams, exploration and discovery, followed by more dreams, exploration and discovery, are at the heart of being human. For our species, for our nation and for the future of humanity, we must continue to be courageous, to evolve and to dream of reaching deeper into the universe. We must continue to explore.”
