“I only have 10 good years left” – that’s why he smokes weed

Rock musician Ozzy Osbourne has made a bleak prognosis, saying he has “at most 10 more years” in which he can live in good shape. The 74-year-old metal musician and former Black Sabbath frontman said this in an interview with the UK edition of ROLLING STONE. In it, the “Prince Of Darkness” talked about his long-term health problems, which included numerous surgeries in recent years. And that’s why he’s smoking weed again.

Ozzy Osbourne is not afraid of dying

While speaking to the magazine, Osbourne expressed his views on death. He said he was “not afraid of dying” but also didn’t want to have “a long, painful and miserable experience.”

He then added that he recently confessed to his wife Sharon about smoking a joint: “She said, ‘What are you doing? This will fucking kill you!’ I said, ‘How long do you want me to live?!’ I have at most ten years left, and as you get older, time passes faster. Sharon and I recently had our 41st wedding anniversary and that is just incredible to me!”

In another part of the conversation, Osbourne said that while he still hopes to perform again, he has to accept that he may never get that opportunity again. In September, he underwent what he described as his “final surgery” after he fell in 2019 and dislodged metal rods that had been inserted into his body following a 2003 quad bike accident.

More about the Osbournes

In a new episode of the Osbournes podcast on Tuesday (November 21), the Osbourne family recently discussed, among other things, their popular MTV reality series “The Osbournes.” In addition to looking back on the show, they agreed that they would never want to revive the series – for important reasons.
