When Queen Elizabeth II returned to work last year despite health problems, Jeanne, Anna and Marguerite (96) – three Flemish women of the year 1926, just like the Queen – looked at their peers with admiration. Less than a year later, the Queen is no longer there, and they feel it deep into their 96-year-old constitution. We looked up the three again. “I always wondered who would go first: her or me.
