The new festival season is just around the corner and after two years in which the Hurricane and Southside Festivals had to be canceled due to the corona pandemic, there is positive news today. New acts have just been confirmed.
Current Line-Up of the Hurricane and Southside Festivals
New artists and bands include: Charli XCX, Electric Callboy, Gayle, Schmyt, Jeremias, Tom Gregory, The Stickmen Project, Wargasm, Goat Girl and Avralize. Rap fans also get their money’s worth, because the Berlin rapper Megaloh joins the lineup. In addition, the indie band Buntspecht has been confirmed for the Southside and the indie pop musician Pano for the Hurricane.
Due to the pandemic, however, some acts also have to be cancelled. These are: Chvrches, Bombay Bicycle Club, Killswitch Engage, Mayday Parade and Miya Folick.
Big names as headliners
The organizers had previously confirmed other bands and musicians. Martin Garrix is the headliner, plus KIZ, who are now leading the line-up together with Kings of Leon, Rise Against, Seeed, Deichkind, The Killers and Twenty One Pilots.
Fans of electronic music will also get their money’s worth: Martin Garrix’ label STMPD RCRDS brings Loopers, Matisse & Sadko and Julian Jordan to the Hurricane, which will be opened by #HURRICANESWIMTEAM like every year. On the other hand, Osrin, Bart B More, DubVision and Justin Mylo are planned for the Southside.
