Hundreds of displaced Afghans can return to provinces of origin

Nearly 1,600 Afghans displaced in recent years and settling in the capital, Kabul, left the city on Thursday. The men, women and children have returned to their provinces of origin in the east of the country, with the help of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). This happens almost a year after the end of the conflict that forced them to flee.
