Hundreds of arrests after protests and ‘provocative posts’ on social media against rival Erdogan arrest

Around the protests against the arrest of Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu of Istanbul, 343 people were arrested in more than ten cities in Turkey, the Turkish Ministry of the Interior reports. Tens of thousands of people had taken out the street from anger about the arrest of the political rival of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
