A total of fifteen people were arrested who are suspected of being part of a criminal network and the illegal smuggling of around 300 migrants to EU countries.
Eight house searches happened in the Roeselare region yesterday. Six people were arrested, including two key figures. In total it concerns four men and two women, between 27 years and 35 years. During the searches, GSMs, four vehicles, laptops and documents were seized, among other things. PZ RIHO also cooperated in this intervention.
