Traffic on the Brabant highways was stuck in some places in our province on Friday. There were long traffic jams on the A17 and A16 in the direction of the Moerdijk bridge. It was also busy on other roads in Brabant.
Normally it is busy early on Friday afternoon, but now it is extra busy due to the start of the summer holidays in the central region. The closure of the Haringvliet bridge on the A29 also caused, as every day, extra long traffic jams for the Moerdijk bridge. On Friday afternoon there were also long traffic jams from the north to go on holiday via Brabant.
The longest traffic jams to the south were on the A16 and A27. Around six o’clock the length of the traffic jams decreased.
