The line is quite noticeable and it is not clear to all bystanders what is going on. “On the Looiersgracht (as far as I can see) there are hundreds of teenagers in a line. I can’t find anything about this online, what is going on,” one of the bystanders told AT5.
Video from another bystander shows the teenagers entering a building marked ‘Harry Styles’. You can find that online today the new album by Harry Styles has been published and that is why several pop-up stores have been opened worldwide.
The line will probably remain standing for a while, because the store (which opened at 4 p.m.) will close at 9 p.m. The store is also open tomorrow and Sunday.
The crowds on the Looiersgracht are a harbinger of what will happen on Johan Cruijff Boulevard this summer. The Brit then steps in no less than ten times in the Johan Cruijff Arena. He also performed here in 2023 and then some fans even decided to to camp in tents.
