Hamburger SV is one of the largest clubs in Germany. In the New sticker on T-Online you will find all the important messages about the “red pants”.
In March, HSV and Werder Bremen ensured a record record in German women’s football with 57,000 fans in the Volkspark Stadium. The first Bundesliga north derby is also said to rise against a big backdrop-namely in the Weser Stadium. Werder announced on Tuesday.
The northern derby takes place on the weekend from October 10th to October 13th. The exact date has not yet been determined.
Werder’s head of department Birte Brüggemann said: “It would be a dream for all of us to play in a sold -out Weser Stadium. This will certainly be an indescribable atmosphere and a unique experience.”
Usually the Bremen women play in 11th place next to the stadium. The audience record of the Werder women is 22,721 fans, who saw the home game against Bayer Leverkusen in the Weser Stadium last October.
Hamburger SV made the obligation of the Danish striker Yussuf Poulsen perfect. After twelve years at RB Leipzig, the 31-year-old changes to the Bundesliga promoter for a transfer fee of around 1.5 million euros. The Hanseates did not provide any information about the term of the contract. In Leipzig he still had a contract until 2026.
“He is a face of the Bundesliga. With all his experience and maturity, he knows all the facets of professional football. Yussuf is the way from the 3rd league to the Champions League with Leipzig and therefore only knows too well what is important to keep the class and establish itself in the Bundesliga in the long term,” said HSV board member Stefan Kuntz. At HSV, Poulsen will wear number 15.
After 13 years, the HSV women will be first-class again from this season. The Bundesliga starts with a cracker for the “red pants”: VfL Wolfsburg will travel to Hamburg on match day 1 (September 5-8). It is special that the HSV women are now also playing in the large Volkspark Stadium.
There it should become particularly full on matchday 19 (February 20-23): Then the HSV will meet the great North Rival Werder Bremen in the derby. The HSV also plays an attractive home game on the last matchday: FC Bayern Munich (May 17th) comes to the Volkspark at the end of the season.
The HSV plays a special test game on Saturday and travels to Copenhagen. In the Danish capital, the promoted team will meet the record champions FC Copenhagen from 4 p.m. in the parking stadium. Almost 8,000 Hamburg fans have made their way to Denmark-the ultra scenes of the two clubs have been very friends for years.
If you haven’t got a ticket for the game, you can still follow it live. The HSV broadcasts the duel live on its YouTube channel and to HSVTV.
Sky is also part of the party: the Pay TV broadcaster will broadcast live from 3:45 p.m. You can see the HSV test game on the Sky Sport News HD, Sky Sport Top Event and Sky Sport Bundesliga HD.
On Friday evening, promotion hero Davie Selke said goodbye to the HSV fans with a video. The 30-year-old’s contract expired at the end of June, and an extension could not be agreed-according to media reports, Selke will switch to Antalyaspor to the Turkish Süper Lig.
