The Hamburger SV has another departure. Midfielder Lukasz Poreba will not play in the Bundesliga after climbing with the red pants, but will continue to appear in the lower house. The 25 -year -old Pole moves to SV 07 Elversberg on a loan – in addition, the second division club, which has failed in the relegation, has secured a purchase option, which, according to the “picture”, should be 1.5 million euros.
“With the commitment of Lukasz, we have won further quality for our midfield. It brings exactly the dynamics, overview and intensity that we need in the center. We are pleased that he will strengthen our squad from now on,” said SVE sports director Ole Book. POREBA said: “The SVE has taken a strong development in recent years – and I would like to go this way and contribute to my part to show attractive and inspiring football again in the new season. I am really looking forward to getting to know the team and then starting directly.”
Poreba was temporarily changed from RC Lens to Hamburg in the end of August 2023. In the following summer, the North Germans pulled the purchase option agreed with the French in the amount of 300,000 euros. However, the right foot could not secure a regular place at HSV and made 37 games (three goals and three templates) over 1,510 minutes. In the decisive promotion game against SSV Ulm (6: 1), Poreba convinced as a central defender. The professional in the database with one million euros in the database is Elversberg’s eleventh access. Eintracht Braunschweig was also traded as a possible loan.
HSV sports director Claus Costa explained: “After the first impressions of the season preparation, Lukasz expressed the wish to want to reorient himself for the upcoming season. We wanted to meet this wish and found a suitable solution for all sides with the loan to SV Elversberg. We wish him all the best and a sporty time.”
