The fans of Hamburger SV are hoping that crowd favorite Luka Vuskovic will be loaned out from Tottenham Hotspur again. HSV has now commented on the rumors circulating about the open question of the future of the 19-year-old Croatian.
“It is confirmed by all sides, including HSV: A second HSV loan is currently not an issue,” reported “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg in the program “Transfer Update – The Show”.
The transfer expert added: “There are two options: One is the expensive, expensive, expensive contract extension with salary adjustment at Spurs. The second option is an XXL move to a top European club.”
Vuskovic had spent the past season at HSV, where he performed well and even shone as a leading player despite his young age. The central defender played a significant role in staying in the league, and not just because of his six goals this season in the Bundesliga.
The “Independent” recently reported that the Rothosen were hoping to stay. Accordingly, Tottenham are now focusing on Vuskovic’s future after staying in the league.
The supposed plan: The World Cup driver should sign a new contract in London, with improved conditions. He should then be loaned out to HSV again.
No talks between HSV and Tottenham
However, the “Hamburger Abendblatt” had already written that there were currently no discussions between HSV and Spurs about this scenario.
Meanwhile, Vuskovic himself once again said an emotional farewell to the Hanseatic city.
“One year. One club. One family. From the first day I arrived in Hamburg, I felt something special. The love, the passion, the support – you immediately made me feel at home. Wearing this jersey and the number 44 in the Volksparkstadion was an honor that I will never forget,” he wrote on Instagram last weekend to the HSV fans.
