HSV wins against Klose-Club and jumps to the top

Hamburger SV made a safe victory in the traditional duel with Nuremberg. Meanwhile, Düsseldorf is also opening up to the top group.
Hamburger SV is at least temporarily leading again in the 2nd Bundesliga. The eleven of coach Merlin Polzin won 3-0 (2-0) at 1. FC Nürnberg on Saturday afternoon.
Jean-Luc Dompé brought the HSV to the winning road with its goal in the eighth minute early. However, the gate was half a own goal of Nuremberg Rafael Lubach, who still dropped the ball decisively. In the 16th minute it came worse for the “club” when Janis saw the red card after a rough foul. From now on, the HSV dominated the action and Dompé added his second goal before the break. In half two, the Hamburgers played the lead confidently. In the 84th minute, Robert Glatzel was allowed to cheer about his first goal after his return from a serious tendon injury.
Due to the victory, the HSV with 52 points now jumps back to table place one. The 1. FC Köln can pass again in the evening with a victory against Hertha BSC. Nuremberg remains ninth with 41 points.
In the parallel games, Fortuna Düsseldorf won 1-0 against Prussia Münster and SV Darmstadt also defeated Greuther Fürth 1-0.
The HSV got off to a lightning start. Ondrej Karafiat steered the shot from Dompé into his own goal. With the leadership in the back and outnumbered, the guests then determined the action, the second goal from Dompé was the result. Through Dompé (22nd), Adam Karabec (41.), Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer (42nd) and Emir Sahiti (45th), the HSV awarded further opportunities before the change, Nuremberg’s goalkeeper Jan Reichert often stood in the way. The hosts were only dangerous by Karafiat (31st).
Hamburg also dominated in the second half. Karabec (57.) moved, Sahiti (60th) hit the post and the substitute Glatzel headed just by (67th) before he cheered his first goal after a long injury break. From Nuremberg there was little outnumbered.
Fortuna Düsseldorf, meanwhile, does not give up in the promotion race. In front of 52,000 fans, the Fortuna won the duel with promoted Prussia Münster despite the 25-minute outnumber of 1: 0 (1: 0) and climbed to fifth for at least one night. The deficit to relegation place three is initially only two points.
Dawid Kownacki (15th) provided the victory of the Düsseldorfer, who had previously lost three of four games. After the red card against Myron van Brederode due to coarse foul game (69th), the team of coach Daniel Thioune survived the final phase harmless. Münster is located as table-15. Only thanks to the better goal difference in front of the relegation zone.
In the best spring weather, the spectators in the sold -out arena were seen to see a lively game in which Kownacki was the focus. First, the pole used a flank from Shinta Appelkamp with a massive header to the lead, a little later it had to be treated for a long time – and then had 2-0 on the foot shortly before the break (43.).
After the break, Düsseldorf stayed on the trigger before Van Brederode got into his team with a male against his Dutch compatriot Jorrit Hendrix.
Darmstadt 98 made an important victory in the fight for relegation. The team of coach Florian Kohfeldt prevailed 1-0 (0-0) against SpVgg Greuther Fürth and passed the clover leaves in the table. The distance to the relegation place is seven points for both clubs. SVD striker Isac Lidberg (79.). Previously, the lilies had lost two games in a row.
In bright sunshine, the spectators at the Böllenfall goal initially saw a game -free game. The SVD pressed up, but was able to broadcast no danger with the only clear shot of Andreas Müller (29th). Fürth acted without the yellow -locked captain and offensive player Branimir Hrgota. Mandatory opportunities failed to do until the break.
After the change of sides, the lilies pressed the lead more clearly. Philipp Förster’s dangerous free kick, however, defused Fürth keeper Nahuel Noll (49.). In the 62nd minute, the Hesse had to cope with the injury -related substitution of striker Fraser Hornby. Lidberg failed a little later to Noll (73.), but was then successful.
