HSV brings Katterbach back

Noah Katterbach is leaving Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln and returning to Hamburger SV.

The left-back, who had already played on loan for the second division team in the second half of the 2022/23 season, is moving permanently to HSV. Katterbach (22) has signed a long-term contract, the Hamburg team did not provide any information about the exact term.

“We remained in contact with Noah even after the loan ended in the summer of 2023, as we are absolutely convinced of him in terms of sport and personality,” said Claus Costa, director of professional football at HSV.

Katterbach played eleven games for Hamburg last year before he tore his cruciate ligament in April.
