Anyone who visits the Insta page of the Hamburg power techno band Scooter these days will be confronted with a pair of women’s jeans open at the button placket. A raunchy tif animation that hints at the new album in a Scooter-like way:
“BIG NEWS! Our new album ‘Open Your Mind And Your Trousers’ will be released on March 22nd, 2024,” it says with a soft erotic component. “Get the Limited Bundle Editions now directly in the Scooter Shop! Link in bio! Are you ready to rave?”
An accompanying tour under the motto “THIRTY, ROUGH AND DIRTY!” is also being announced, which will kick off on March 28th in the Schleyer Hall in Stuttgart and will also delight other major venues in the country.
But that’s not all: On March 16, 2024, Hans-Peter Geerdes, the real name of the East Frisian native, will celebrate his 60th birthday in the middle of preparing for the tour. From this point on, warm wishes in advance…

The tireless electro powerhouse wants to marry his soon-to-be 23-year-old student fiancée Sara on the “Island of the Beautiful and Rich”. So we had a break on Sylt after the lovebirds had often appeared in traditional costumes at beer bouts in Sara’s hometown of Munich.
