The whole world is preparing to scrutinize the sky of Rome and the Vatican pending the white smoke that will rise from the roof of the Sistine chapel when the cardinals have chosen the successor of Pope Francis. The Conclave will begin on Wednesday 7 May and the cardinals will use a chimney mounted on the roof of the Sistine Chapel to communicate to the world the outcome of their votes.
