It was exactly one year ago today that star chef Nick Bril (40) drove his car over intern Joe Claridge (38) at his restaurant The Jane. The latter lost two legs as a result. The Antwerp public prosecutor’s office wants to prosecute Bril for the accident and for culpable negligence, but additional investigation delayed the case. Our crime reporter Tim Lescrauwaet followed the case closely and met victim Joe in the hospital. He draws up a personal state of affairs.
