In recent months, fake agents who go along the doors have been frequently warned, including in Assen, Roden and Zuidwolde. Stories are also known from Fake Bank employees. Housing corporation Actium in Assen is confronted with the next version of possible scams: fake inspectors.
Via Facebook, the organization warns of inspectors who say they are from Actium and come to people to check the smoke detectors. According to the housing corporation, these people do not do this on behalf of Actium and cannot identify themselves.
The urgent advice in the warning is therefore: “Do not let these people in and contact the police if they ring you. Inspectors who work on behalf of Actium can always identify themselves.”
Where these fake inspectors are active and whether they have also made victims, it was not announced.
