House shot in Oosterhout, residents discover impacts upon returning home

A house on the Jan van Eijckhof in Oosterhout has been shot at several times. We found out about this when residents came home on Saturday morning. No one was injured. Part of the courtyard has been cordoned off by the police for investigation.

At a quarter to ten, the residents of the affected house alerted the police. Officers saw multiple bullet impacts in the windows at the front of the house.

Since then, the police has been conducting neighborhood and trace investigations. For example, part of the Jan van Eijckhof has been cordoned off with red and white police tapes. There are yellow signs on the street, which indicate where tracks are.

It is unknown when the shooting happened and who is behind it. Police are calling on witnesses to come forward.
