From 22 August on Sky and streaming on NOW, simultaneously with the airing of American cable TV. So in a few months there will be the answers to (almost) all the questions, going back in time: a 200 years before the events mentioned in the parent series.

The series House of the Dragon develops in ten episodes shot in the UK. Well-fed cast of actors: Paddy Considine will take on the role of King Viserys Targaryenchosen by the lords of Westeros to succeed the Old King, Jaehaerys Targaryen, during the Grand Council of Harrenhal. Olivia Cooke will interpret Alicent Hightower, Otto Hightower’s daughter (played by Rhys Ifans), Hand of the King, the most attractive woman of the Seven Kingdoms, while Emma D’Arcy It will be there Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, the eldest daughter of the king. Of pure Valyrian blood, she rides dragons.
