A fire broke out last night in a house in Coevorden. Around half past one, a fire was made in a house on Breitnerstraat.
Upon arrival of the fire brigade, the fire had already been skipped to an adjacent house. The fire brigade got the fire under control, but around seven this morning the fire flared up again. The fire brigade tries to prevent the fire from spreading.
According to a spokesperson for the fire brigade, at least four homes have suffered damage, but the seriousness is still unclear. As a precaution, the fire brigade evacuated the entire residential block, which consists of eight houses.
The fire brigade states that the fire was created in the kitchen. The residents noticed the fire in time and alerted the neighbors.
Nothing is yet known about the cause of the fire. There were also no victims, as far as we know, there were two ambulances on the spot for the certainty.
Fire brigades from the wider area, including Coevorden, Schoonebeek and Zwinderen, were called to help extinguish the fire.
