A big fire raged at a riding school on Veldhovenseweg in Knegsel on Wednesday evening. It would have originated in a horse box, where there were fifteen horses at that time. They are all saved.
The fire broke out around half past ten in a building on the Rodenburgh stud farm. There are stables in that building, the canteen of the riding school and a number of apartments.
The owner of the riding school was not present when the fire in the stable of twenty by fifty meters broke out. A neighbor and neighbor have brought the horses to safety, she says.
