Mayor Breukelman of Hoogeveen has had a building on Anton Philipsstraat in Hoogeveen sealed. On October 30, a cocaine laundry under construction was found here.
The building has been sealed for six months. “The interests of the residents and entrepreneurs in the area and the consequences it would have had for them if chemicals had led to an explosion weigh heavily,” said the mayor. “These types of activities undermine our society and there is no room for them in our municipality.”
Yesterday afternoon, a building was also closed in Hoogeveen. A large amount of illegal fireworks and firearms were found here.
