Holstein Kiel presented a perspective player with the first transfer notice after the fixed descent: Leon Parduzi changes from the U19 of the Karlsruher SC to the KSV, which will have to start again in the 2nd Bundesliga in the coming season. The 18-year-old left-back is a junior international Kosovos and has been kicking in the KSC’s youngsters since 2021. He signed a three -year contract with the storks.
“Leon offers a lot of footballing potential paired in his position with absolute will and mentality,” said the new sports director Olaf Rebbe. “He is a talented player with development potential. The goal is to introduce him to our ranks in peace. He will both reinforce the U23 and be a challenger with the professionals. We are very pleased that we were able to convince him of our way and that he chose Holstein Kiel.”
Parduzi has had 48 games in Karlsruhes U19 in the past two seasons and had previously been part of the regular staff in the U17. The Kosovare, born in Western Baden-Württemberg, said about his change: “The step here after Kiel is a big challenge for me. In the conversations with those responsible for the KSV, I immediately felt the trust and convinced that Kiel is the right decision for my further development. The framework conditions for me as a young player and, above all, the sporting perspective have completely convinced me.”
