The US actor Ray Liotta (67) is dead! This is reported unanimously by the two portals “TMZ” and “Deadline”.
The US actor Ray Liotta, known primarily for gangster roles, is dead. According to his spokeswoman, the “Goodfellas” star died “completely surprisingly” in his sleep. Liotta was 67 years old. At the request of the German Press Agency, spokeswoman Jennifer Allen said he was in the Dominican Republic for filming.
One of his best-known films is the mafia epic Goodfellas (1990), directed by Martin Scorsese, in which Liotta played a gangster alongside Robert De Niro. He has also appeared in films such as Field of Dreams, Killing Them Softly and The Place Beyond the Pines. Last year he starred in the mafia flick The Many Saints of Newark.
