CDK JR wins

Now it’s over again: the twelfth season of Holland’s Got Talent came to an end yesterday with just over 1.4 million viewers (29 percent market share) on RTL 4. With that, the talent show, which was won by the dance group CDK JR, the big winner in prime time.

CDK JR is happy: “At that moment we were completely overwhelmed, we never dared to dream this, there was so much talent and to finish first at Holland’s Got Talent is a dream come true. Now we want to shout it from the rooftops, so great. Thank you to the audience, the jury and all the great responses we received.”

At least one

It is the second least watched final of Holland’s Got Talent on RTL 4 ever. Only the one from two years ago attracted even less attention with almost 1.4 million viewers.

The talent show has been shown on RTL 4 since the third season in 2010. The finals from seasons three to ten scored 2.6 million, 2.5 million, 1.9 million, 2.4 million, 1.8 million, 2.0 million, 1.6 million and 1.5 million viewers.

The first two seasons of Holland’s Got Talent were shown on SBS 6. The finals were good for 1.0 and 1.1 million viewers.

Commercial hit

Holland’s Got Talent is a mega hit in the commercial target group, says viewing figures expert Tina Nijkamp. “It was a very successful season, with mega figures also in the main target group for 20 to 54 years. Yesterday again a market share of no less than 37.3 percent. So very high.”

A new season is guaranteed with this score, according to Tina. “Definitely a new season for Holland’s Got Talent, hopefully with Edson da Graça again.”
