During CamperZaterdag, private individuals sell their used campers, and Zoetermeer residents and other people from the Netherlands and abroad can come and browse through the campers.
From all over the country
The first CamperSaturday of March 18 already attracted a lot of attention. Gwen Verheul explains: “Our event attracted about 1,200 visitors from both the Netherlands and Belgium. Even though the campers could not be towed in corona time, there are plenty of people who want to sell their used camper for our sales days.”
Gwen and her father Jan-Dick were looking for a central location for their sales day. “Zoetermeer is very centrally located and we organize CamperZaterdag both at the Silverdome car park and at De Lus in Rokkeveen. Ideal for parking and for placing the campers,” says Gwen.
Barbecues, coffee and hot dogs
In addition to about 30 second-hand campers, there are also stalls with coffee, hot dogs and gas barbecues. Gwen: “We are expanding CamperZaterdag a bit with a snack and a drink, but also with camping gear, such as gas barbecues. There is also a stand with information about the best camping pitches.”
CamperZaterdag is on Saturday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Silverdome car park. On Saturday 13 May you can visit Carpool De Lus in Rokkeveen. Admission is free on both days. Private individuals who want to sell their second-hand motorhome can register for 35 euros. read here more.
