Pia Maertens (Rot-Weiss Köln/12th and 43rd minutes) and Lena Micheel (UHC Hamburg/36th) scored the goals for the selection of the German Hockey Federation (DHB). In the table, Germany pushed the guests from fourth place. The best German player was goalkeeper Nathalie Kubalski from Düsseldorfer HC.
The next games of the DHB teams in the Pro League are already on the program in Mönchengladbach at the weekend. The women play the USA on Saturday (2:00 p.m.) and Sunday (12:00 p.m.), while the men (Saturday 4:30 p.m., Sunday 2:30 p.m.) play Spain.
