In the hot phase of the World Cup preparations, the German Hockey Association (DHB) team won 2-0 (0-0) against the USA in Mönchengladbach on Saturday (March 26th, 2022). On Wednesday, Germany had their first win with a 3-0 win over Spain.
Nele Aring (35th minute) and Sonja Zimmermann (45th) scored for the team of national coach Valentin Altenburg. On Sunday (12.00 p.m.) the DHB women will also meet the USA again in Mönchengladbach. The World Cup will take place in Spain and the Netherlands from July 1st to 17th.
