Volkswagen has officially entered the competitive electric vehicle market with its new ID Polo lineup. As of late April 2026, the automaker initiated pre-sales for its higher-end models, ID Polo Life and Style, both surpassing the €30,000 mark even after potential subsidies. Pricing and Availability
In mid-July, just two and a half months after the initial rollout, Volkswagen unveiled the entry-level ID Polo Trend in its configurator. This model carries a starting price of €24,995, as highlighted in a recent Volkswagen announcement. This competitive pricing strategy positions the ID Polo Trend as an appealing option for first-time electric vehicle buyers or those looking to make the switch without breaking the bank.
Compromises to Achieve Affordability
