North Holland success in the Euro Hockey League. In the Wagener Stadium, the women of Amsterdam and the men of Bloemendaal won the finals in the EHL.
Bloemendaal – Rot Weiss Cologne
The hockey players of Bloemendaal extended the title with a 4-0 victory over the German Rot Weiss Köln. For the North Hollanders it was the fifth time that they managed to win the EHL. Rick Mathijsen’s team was supreme. Croon, Fuchs, Brinkman and Bovendeert scored for Bloemendaal.
Thriller between Amsterdam – Den Bosch
With the women it was a lot more exciting. After regular time it was 2-2 between Amsterdam and Den Bosch. Amsterdam took the shoot-outs better and won the series 3-2. Robert Tiges’ team won the EHL for the fifteenth time.
