Hobby farmer Pieter from Dwingeloo brings sheep bitten to death by wolf to Drenthe provincie provincial government

Last week, three of Pieter van Noord’s sheep from Dwingeloo were bitten to death. He placed two of these animals on the sidewalk of the provincial government in Assen on Thursday afternoon.

Van Noord is an entrepreneur and has 28 sheep as a hobby. He found two of them dead on Wednesday morning, a third animal is missing.

A county employee has come out for an interview, on the condition that he clean up the sheep. The entrepreneur did so and went inside for an interview.

He wants the province to intervene against the wolf, he writes in a press release. “Who do we think we are to live with the wolf?” He wants the predators killed. ‘What fool is going to shoot a wolf with a paintbal gun? It must be shot with live ammunition!’
