Hit and run crime in Ostend
The two occupants, a 36-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, were found to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs. In addition, goods that were previously stolen from Hubo and Brico in Bredene were also found in the vehicle. Both gentlemen have since been arrested by the investigating judge on suspicion of theft. Further research will have to show whether they possibly qualify for similar facts.
