RRome, 6 December. (askanews) – The four disciplines of Hip Hop culture united under the metro in Romethis is the spirit of Breaking the 5ththe scheduled art, music and dance event from 9 to 18 December in Rome. A free event will be staged in the heart of the eastern quadrant of the capital, which will take place in the public spaces before the turnstiles at the Malatesta and Teano metro stops. The performances organized by Baburka Production, financed by Municipio V, in collaboration with ATAC and with the support of London streetwear, are aimed at involving the passing public of the stations involved, with the aim of promoting aggregation linked to sport and the sharing, both young and old, of live experiences and group.
The four-day program of Breaking the 5th involves the performance of WildUpa break dance and street dance group that was born in a feminine key in the “crew” version and which expands to all genres in the “family” version as in this case. BgirlChimp, Saiko, Lilith, Queen J, Bboy Zion And Bboy Simba they have been engaged for years in art-education projects through sport. The group will perform four ten-minute breakdance shows, with the musical accompaniment of DJ Brush on the console and the rapper’s freestyle Diamond.
Furthermore, for the entire duration of the event, a photographic exhibition dedicated to the protagonists of the history of Rome’s Hip-Hop, in particular those coming from the neighborhoods crossed by the C metro line, will be open to the public. In the photographer’s shots Niccolo Verdecchia the urban spaces of Centocelle, Tor Pignattara, Alexandrian and its protagonists.
