Hiltl changes the management – Gerhard Kränzle leaves

Hiltl and the previous managing director Gerhard Kränzle go their separate ways. In the future, the trouser specialist from Sulzbach-Rosenberg will be managed by a dual leadership.

Hiltl Hosen-Manufaktur GmbH appointed Roland Strauss as managing director at the beginning of August, the company, which is backed by the shareholder Lorea AG, announced on Monday. According to his own statements on the LinkedIn careers network, Strauss was active in international management consultancies for ten years and then worked for more than six years as managing director of Berger Beteiligungs GmbH – focus on logistics, vehicle construction and the service sector – until April 2022. He also works as a lecturer for various universities and is self-employed as a strategic consultant in the field of environmental technologies and corporate development. At Hiltl, “soon” support will be provided by an expert with industry experience.

“Hiltl will continue on the path of value-oriented product policy and brand communication that has already been successfully taken,” said Strauss.

In the future, Hiltl wants to focus more on the core business of trousers, “in order to be able to act in a way that is even more needs-based and therefore more customer-oriented,” according to the announcement.
