ON THE MATCH: “I don’t think there’s much to say, and I’m sorry for everyone, especially for the fans. The choice to deploy the 5-3-1 after the expulsion was made because with 10 men left I didn’t want it to become a bad bad bad match. We couldn’t afford to lose 5 or 6 to 0. Nobody intends to lose the matches, we didn’t struggle at the beginning. Then the red card made things worseand the second even more. And so we finished 3-0 down“.
ABOUT THE SEASON: “I was optimistic when I arrived in Pisa. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as we wanted, and obviously this is disappointing. Today, as on other occasions this season, we didn’t score when we had the opportunity. And football is like that, if you don’t score goals in those cases, then the results don’t arrive. Winning only 2 games out of 36 is not easy. I know the guys give everything, but when you start losing games something clicks in your head. You have to be mentally strong. I’m sorry because in recent months we have given a negative impression, but the results speak for themselves“.

ON THE FUTURE: “I don’t know what else to say about this game and this season. Now I just know that I want to go home and enjoy time with my son. And then think about the future, despite the period I already have my mind set on summer retreat before starting the next season here in Pisa“.
