A very elderly woman fell victim to fake agents on the Abcovenenseweg in Goirle on Sunday evening. The woman was called by two men who occurred as agents. Moments later, two ‘colleagues’ came to collect the jewelry from the woman for safety reasons. Immediately after the report, the police went live on Facebook to distribute the perpetrators’ description.
The woman who, according to the police, is 85-plus, was called on Sunday evening by two men who occurred as agents. “They told the story that two boys had been arrested who owned the woman’s address,” says the agent in the live stream.
For safety reasons, the men sent two colleagues to pick up the jewelry of the woman. Moments later, two fake agents indeed arrived at the woman’s door. “They managed to edit her so she gave all her jewelry,” says the agent.

According to the police, it is a typical case in which fake agents strike. The Leijdal police officer went live on Facebook immediately after the report to describe the description of the perpetrators. The two men who came to the door with the woman were darkly tinted and released. One of the men was wearing a gray training suit.
They left on a gray with yellow moped with a luggage box on the back in the direction of Tilburg. The police ask people who have seen something to report.
In the reactions to the live stream, the agent receives a lot of praise that he immediately goes live to share the description. “Do this way more often,” writes Colinda. “Top that you immediately share this online. Hopefully they will be caught,” says Angelique.
