In Tokyo, Gianmarco Tamberi voted up to the high jump Olympic champion. Most recently he had many injuries – but now he shares his private happiness.
The pictures of Mutaz Essa Barshim and Gianmarco Tamberi at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2021 went around the world. The two high jumpers shared the gold medal and created a historical moment. At the summer games in Paris last year, things were not going well for the Italian, he had previously had kidney complaints and could not win a medal. With the words “You gave me the best joy”, Tamberi expresses his deep feelings in his post. Then he explains: “With a simple sentence you managed to let me forget all the darkness that had passed a few months earlier and bring my mind back to the light that can only give the future.”
The Italian sports star continues: “You will be an extraordinary mother, my love, because it is unusual to love your way. I will try to accompany you step by step on this new trip, and I promise that I will do everything What I can help you overcome your deepest fears.
The couple also shared another photo on which it tends their heads together and both smile happily. Tamberi also left another love message: “You, my darling, brought me the most beautiful news that I could ever get. I will be grateful to you forever.
