The false start of Hertha BSC into the new season of the 2nd Bundesliga is perfect: The capital club, which was traded as a promotion favorite, did not get out of 0-0 against Karlsruher SC on the second matchday. At the start of the season, Hertha lost 1: 2 at Schalke 04.
In the other two games on Sunday afternoon, Bundesliga relegated VfL Bochum won 2-0 (0-0) against SV Elversberg. Ibrahima Sissoko (66.) and Gerrit Holtmann (90.+1) met the Saarlanders. The second league relegated Holstein Kiel, on the other hand, lost 0: 2 (0: 2) against promoted Arminia Bielefeld.
