New management addition for Hertha! According to BZ information, the second division team is bringing in Timon Pauls (31) from FC Augsburg.

He will be head of squad planning and scouting, will also take on management tasks and work very closely with sports director Benjamin Weber (43).

Pauls, who is due to start on Monday, most recently worked as chief scout for the struggling Bundesliga club. Before that, he also worked for years as a coordinator and chief scout for FC Bayern’s youth team.

He should fill a gap at Hertha. After the departure of ex-sports boss Fredi Bobic (51) from Berlin in January, Weber was the only sports boss to date. Assistant Andreas “Zecke” Neuendorf (48) is a liaison to the young talent.

Now Pauls should actively support Weber…
