This goal is so important for him! Jessic Ngankam (22) converted a penalty in the 3-0 test against Club de Lyon at the Florida training camp.

Hertha coach Sandro Schwarz (44) decided from the sideline that the striker was allowed to take the penalty he had won.

The coach explains: “It’s the best news that Jessic has minutes to play again.” Ngankam had hardly been able to prove himself under Schwarz due to various long-term injuries – that’s why the coach gave him the 911 confidence.

Schwarz: “He’s like a newcomer, a new player. Now he has confirmed his training performance.” Ngankam should find his old strength under Black.

Hertha’s strikers also shone in the second friendly on Sunday evening: Wilfried Kanga scored three goals in the 7-1 win against The Villages SC, strike partner Stevan Jovetic once. Winger Marco Richter put together a brace and midfielder Ivan Sunjic also contributed a goal.
