Hertha BSC surprisingly uses FC Augsburg

Second division soccer team Hertha BSC is apparently bringing in squad planner Timon Pauls from Bundesliga club FC Augsburg. This is what “Bild” reports.

Accordingly, the 31-year-old should also take on management tasks and work closely with sports director Benjamin Weber. Paul’s is scheduled to start on Monday. There is no confirmation from the clubs yet.

The Berliners want to close a gap that has existed since the separation from manager Fredi Bobic. Before his position in Augsburg, Pauls had already worked at FC Bayern as a youth coordinator.
