Hertha BSC: “Long way” in squad planning – Boyata implementation soon

“Challenging weeks ahead of us”

With 34 professionals, Hertha BSC currently has the largest squad of all Bundesliga clubs. Sports director Fredi Bobic still has a lot of work to do before the transfer deadline on September 1st – especially on the side of the departures.

“We still have a way to go and will still have personnel changes in the squad until the end of August. There will still be a long way to go before we have the squad we want to start the season with,” Bobic predicted on Sky TV. “We still have certain things to do. We have already done a lot, but there are still two to three exhausting weeks ahead of us.”

Dedryck Boyata (31) is about to leave the field in the near future. “These trials happen in the summer when you have a big squad. We have always communicated openly and transparently with the consultant. A lot of things are going slowly because there is little money in the market. I’m confident that the execution will be reported soon,” said Bobic. The TM rumor mill has linked the previous season’s captain to Turkish champions Trabzonspor.
