Hertha BSC: contract termination with Pál Dárdai – report on millions of compensation

Released by Hertha in November

Hertha BSC has agreed to terminate the contract with its former coach Pál Dárdai. His assistant at the time, Andreas Neuendorf, no longer has a working paper with the “old lady”. The sports director Fredi Bobic said to the “picture“: “Yes, I can confirm that we have agreed with both of them to terminate the employment relationship.”

The Berliners separated from the 46-year-old for the second time at the end of November last year. Since then, Tayfun Korkut and Felix Magath, who led the Berliners to avoid relegation, have been on the sidelines. Sandro Schwarz took over for the new season. Dárdai returned to the post of head coach in January 2021, having returned to youth coaching after his first term from 2015 to 2019. He averaged 1.23 points in 31 games.

According to reports, Dárdai, who, according to the newspaper, previously had a permanent contract with Hertha BSC, will receive a severance payment of a low seven-digit sum. In Neuendorf it should be a low six-digit amount.
