Hertha Berlin with Tayfun Korkut was ahead of Leipzig!



Leipzig hosted Hertha Berlin at the Olympic Stadium in the 23rd week of the Bundesliga. The first half of the match was completed with a goal by Benjamin Henrichs in the 20th minute, with Leipzig’s advantage 1-0. Hertha Berlin equalized 1-1 with Stevan Jovetic’s goal in the 48th minute at the beginning of the second half.


Leipzig made the score 2-1 as Christopher Nkunku scored a penalty kick in the 64th minute. The guest team scored 4 more goals with Nkunku in the 67th minute, Dani Olmo in the 74th minute, Amadou Haidara in the 81st minute and Yussuf Poulsen in the 88th minute and won the match 6-1.


Hertha Berlin fought 10 players in the remaining time as Marc-Oliver Kempf was shown a red card in the 62nd minute.


With this win, Leipzig increased their points to 37 and kept their 4th place. Hertha Berlin, coached by Tayfun Korkut, dropped to 15th place with 23 points.
